Part 2: Joining The Private Club

By opting to register as a private club member through the Website, you accept additional Terms and agree to become part of The Branch’s private cannabis club (the “Club”). Membership is governed by the following rules:

The Branch does not guarantee legal immunity or compliance of its membership model. You accept these risks voluntarily, understanding that nothing in these Terms constitutes legal advice.

2. Membership Agreement

By registering as a member:

  • You become part of The Branch’s private cannabis club, which operates under the Fields of Green Code of Conduct and the collective membership model.
  • The Club provides cannabis cultivation services on behalf of its members. Ownership of cannabis remains with the membership body at all times.
  • You agree to the Club’s protocols and acknowledge that cultivation is performed for personal, private use only, with no commercial transactions involved.

3. Fields of Green Code of Conduct

As a private club, The Branch adheres to the following core values:

  1. Privacy: Member information and activities are kept confidential.
  2. Transparency: The Club operates ethically, prioritizing honesty and accountability.
  3. Harm Reduction: The Club promotes safe cannabis practices and education.
  4. Advocacy: The Club supports initiatives aimed at reforming cannabis legislation in South Africa.
  5. Non-Commercial Operations: The Club operates as a non-profit entity, with all contributions reinvested into cultivation and advocacy efforts.

The Deed of Donation

As a member, you donate your legal entitlement to possess cannabis to the Club, authorizing cultivation services.

1. Donation Agreement

By joining the Club:

  1. You donate your entitlement to possess cannabis (e.g., 100g per month) to the Club for private cultivation purposes.
  2. The donation is voluntary, non-refundable, and without compensation. Ownership remains with you and the collective membership body.

2. Cultivation Terms

  • The Club agrees to cultivate cannabis on your behalf under strict quality and privacy protocols.
  • Members will be informed of the location and progress of cultivation efforts at all times.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. By using the Website or joining the Club, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of South African courts for any disputes.
